a) The stylist behind Lilaj's casually elegant, wash-and-wear bob also happens to be her husband, Andrea Battista of Cutler South Beach Salon (305-672-4499).

b) She keeps her makeup essentials in a monogrammed, moire taffeta bag, which the makeup artist on the shoot and I immediately coveted. A quick Web search and I had my own: TalleyHoDesign.com lets you customize styles, and as a practical touch, they're all lined in plastic. (If you're shopping for bridesmaids' presents, look no further!)

c) Lilaj's biggest weaknesses at the Soho Beach House are the in-house pizza (yes, it's amazing) and this profoundly soothing lavender and eucalyptus-infused candle, sold in the swoon-worthy Cowshed spa downstairs. Best of all is its name: Knackered Cow, a twisted British term of endearment.
